Business lines

Commercial auto that doesn't grind your operation to a halt.

From a single service truck to a regional fleet — liability, physical damage, hired and non-owned, and downtime coverage placed with carriers that actually want commercial risk.

What's covered

Coverage scaled to the way you actually operate.

A one-truck plumbing operation and a 40-truck regional carrier need very different policies. We build yours around your fleet, your routes, and your contracts.

Auto Liability

Bodily injury and property damage your drivers cause. Limits sized to the contracts and customers you serve, not just state minimums.

Physical Damage

Collision and comprehensive on owned vehicles, including specialized equipment, tool boxes, and aftermarket installs.

Hired & Non-Owned Auto

Coverage when employees use rentals or personal vehicles for business — the gap most general policies leave wide open.

Motor Truck Cargo

Goods you're hauling for others. Limits and commodity restrictions tuned to what you actually carry.

Trailer Interchange

For tractors that pull trailers under interchange agreements — protects you while the trailer is in your care.

Downtime / Rental Reimbursement

The truck is the business. We make sure you're not eating revenue loss while it's at the body shop.

Industries we write

Commercial auto experience across the operations that move the work.

Underwriters look at industry, radius, and revenue before they look at price. We know which carriers want which classes — and which to avoid.

Common questions

Commercial auto, straight answers.

I have one truck — do I really need commercial auto?

If the vehicle is titled in a business name, used for paid work, or carries tools and materials for a job, a personal auto policy can deny the claim. Commercial auto is the right answer for most owner-operators.

Why are rates so different between carriers?

Industry class, radius of operation, driver MVRs, prior loss runs, and equipment values all weigh differently across carriers. The same risk can quote 25–40% apart on a given day.

Can you handle DOT filings?

Yes — for-hire trucking filings (BMC-91X, MCS-90), CA Number filings, and state-specific filings as needed. We'll tell you which apply to your operation.

What's the difference between a BAP and a Truckers policy?

A Business Auto Policy (BAP) is the standard form for most commercial auto risks. A Truckers policy is built specifically for for-hire motor carriers, with cargo and trailer interchange built in.

Send us your fleet schedule.

We'll quote it through the carriers most likely to want your operation, and tell you which premium you're actually paying for.
